Why this song is the current jam: OK this may sound syrupy sweet and I know you've heard it before, but we need to take just a moment to really listen to the voice. It is the easiest most striking thing about the song, so easy to hear and yet I think it is easy to take for granted as well. On a song that you have heard before a lot, that could be considered by some even cliche, that amazing voice that pierces through the rest of the track can seem normal, possible. But really it isnt. And for me, there are some things that are above cliche, like they are too good to be cliche, and this song is one of them. Frankie Lymon really does sound like a little angel singing on this track and like some of those sugar-sweet old Sam Cooke songs, you only need to pay attention to the voice to get what is so good about the song.
