Why this song is the current jam: It's pronounced "Go-AH'-peh-lay'". This song is just a perty lil ditty that makes me want to partner dance. I like her voice, and I really like the track. It is the kind of the beat that I can just get addicted to. It is so simple and it really creates a mood, intimate and, well, close. It is romantic to me, and has a certain gentle, sort of tender feeling of nostalgia that seems perfect for dancing close with a partner. I like that it just flows straight through too, like one long vamp. Oh, and I love the beginning too, just so soft and simple, with that infectious beat. They play this song sometimes at West Coast events, and I dig it.
